Cedar Bend is a six person band based in Ann Arbor, Michigan primarily focused in playing jazz-rock music, with subtle nods to the Michigan native Motown sound.
We are a group excited about bridging the gap between genres and cultures. With a diverse range of musical interests, we can achieve a genre bending sound that still sounds cohesive. In addition to Motown greats like Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye, we are influenced by the likes of Radiohead, Bright Eyes, King Krule, Black Country, New Road, and more! We are excited to be playing shows around cities in the Midwest in 2025-2026.
